You're invited to the ChangeMaker Party!

In December 2019, the team was selected as a TOP 30 team in the T-Mobile ChangeMaker Challenge. Mark your calendars for February 20 at the Portage Boys & Girls Club. This event is for all ages and genders to gather and celebrate local and global changemakers through story-telling and STEM projects. To RSVP for guaranteed entrance (event is capped at 50), please fill out the 1 question form linked in the button. Featured guests have 3D printed meaningful prototypes, organized rippling movements, and advocated for change. Join us for an eye-opening evening with music, food, and plenty of prizes.

    Advanced Video Game Design Workshop
    February 25-27 | 4-6PM @ Portage Boys & Girls Club
Returning members can now challenge themselves through an advanced workshop joining Makey-Makeys and Scratch to make interactive games work that extend outside of the computer screen. Register below!

Mireina is a senior at Portage High School and a matriculating Purdue computer engineer. Mireina credits her PLTW classes, high school experience, and family for encouraging and supporting her to pursue a STEM degree. Last semester, Mireina created an app in her Computer Science class and presented her creation to the school board. Her app is a satisfying game of colorful circles and drawing. In her class, she has made many more, some of which can be used for safety of walkers, organization, and relaxing! Mireina encourages girls to sign up for the Computer Science classes in high school.
